Welcome to Hickory House BBQ!!!!!!

Hickory House is the home of Barbeque on Historic Route 66 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.  We have live music several times a week.  Click here for upcoming Live Events Venue.

Our walls reflect the attitude of Sapulpa, a wide variety of interests, talents and people.  Over the years, our customers and friends have brought special things, sometimes old, sometimes new or different, to display and share with others.

Hickory House started business in September, 1981, on Dewey Street in Sapulpa.  A small building with large hopes.  We moved in July 1986 to our present location and in July 1993, we added a room to accommodate more seating, as well as a stage and dance floor.  Spontaneous combustion caused a fire, bringing Hickory House to an abrupt halt in July 2002.  After 17 challenging months, we rebuilt, remodeled and reopened in December 2003.

Even though the dance floor is new, and some of our displayed special things are gone, we have the same old inclination to add a little variety and spice to our lives, and hopefully yours.

We have live music, a little comedy, strangeness and sometimes a whole lotta foolishness.  The Hickory House family invites you to have a great meal and enjoy life with us!!!  Be sure to check back each month and view our calendar to see what's happening!!!

Our sauce is famous in this region, and our tender smoked meats will make a loyal customer of you from the first bite. The service is always neighborly and our steaming buffet will have you unbuckling that belt by the time you're all through.
